Yellow Ceylon Sapphire Ring

$7,000.00

Cut: cushion

18ct yellow gold

Size N

Origin: Australian made using recycled gold and ethically sourced stones.

A modern take on a classic design- This beautiful ring has a 3.67ct Yellow Ceylon Sapphire that is unheated and natural in colour. The fine Milgrain edge around the band is based off a popular style in the Edwardian era.

Milgrain is created with metal to look like fine beads on the surface of a piece of jewellery. The term is from the French word “mille-grain” which very romantically translates to “a thousand grains”. This technique is believed to be centuries old, originating from Southeast Asia

Wayward acknowledges the traditional owners of this land in Meanjin- the Yuggara and Turrubul. who have learnt from the rich earth in which many stones of old are from, protecting and caring for this ancient land. We pay our respects to the elders past, present and emerging. Wayward believes the path to reconciliation is through understanding and listening. To learn more about your community see the listed sites below. This country was given a voice by these elders- It is time to hear them.
